I am a fan of the 25-06. It is a great choice for deer hunting, it's flat shooting and light recoiling. There are also a lot of factory loads for it.

Also a fan. It's a flat shooter that hits above its' weight. If it's for hunting, it's just about a perfect Texas whitetail or feral pig round.

Agree with this assessment ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.
A 25-06 is a great round that has stood the test of time. Buy yourself a decent rifle in this caliber and you will not bre disappointed.
