Has Remington discontinued making the 700 CDL (and 700 KS) in left handed? Just curious as I cannot seem to find any dealers with new rifles in stock.

Tony if you find any let me know If you will. I'd like to find another 300WM and a 25-06. Thank you, Roland Baker

Roland,

Heard back from Remington...they are not making the 700 CDL or the 700 KS Mountain Rifle in Left Handed.

I saw several on GunBroker.com. I was looking for a .270 LH that was an older model rifle not the newer ones (made by Freedom Group), but there were several 300's in Left hand when I looked last.

I'm left handed as well. I've had a standard 700 BDL 7mm Rem Mag for 35 years. I found a left handed one once and thought about trading but the price just put me off it. I just make the first shot count.

With practice you can cycle a right handed action about as fast as a left handed action

I have left handed rifles now but it's really just cosmetic

I asked them the same thing this week. Nice to know I am not the only one that's looking. I want a 700 in a 270 win.

I basically got the vibe they could care less about left handers which irks me. So I have been looking at a browning.

I just find a used LH 700 and then have what I really want built on the action. I bought a SS 700 LSS in 300 RUM for $700. Sold the stock and barrel and used the action for a 26 Nosler build. More money but in the long run I got what I wanted. We LH shooters just have to pay more for our rifles.

I did actually find a few 700 KS LH Mountian Rifles on GunBroker as well as a NIB 700 270 in LH on GunBroker

I saw that one. I have a problem $1,000 for something that I don't feel is worth more than $600-700. And I have a hard time giving my hard earned money to a company that seems to care less about us lefties. Which is a shame bc most of my rifles and shotguns have remingtons name on them..
