I just bought a 1984 marlin 1894 I would like to customize a bit and would like to find a good smith in Texas to do the work.
I think the standard upgrades are magazine follower, new trigger, trigger work, and action work and I would like these. I would also like a lever with a slightly bigger contour for gloves.
I know I would like the barrel cut down to 16.25 in and threaded 5/8x24 and a rail section put on top of the receiver. I would also like the metal cerakoted or reblued.
Im also open to suggestions to make the gun more reliable and functional
Thanks for the help

Remember reading about this place in American Riflemen NRA mag, it was a review of a 1894 from them. http://www.rangerpointprecision.com/
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Ranger Point Precision, great to work with and they love working on Marlins. They are a sponsor on Marlinowners forum.
