snake skin all by himself. roflmao He's pretty proud of it and wants to keep it for ever and ever, so in a Zip Lock bag it goes. grin

He said when he grows up he wants to catch snakes like I do. roflmao Yes, right now he is trained to stay away from ALL snakes and immediately report to me if he sees one (he's 5). He's learning though. I asked him if he wants to hang his first snake skin by some of my antlers. He said no Dad, it's just a snake skin but I want to keep it forever. grin I miss being a kid.

Thanks bud. He is sure proud of it LOL. Can't wait until he gets his first rabbit, and then pig. He's gonna be all kinds of excited. He pretends he shoots pigs all the time, he is almost old enough. cheers

He wanted to know where his big brother is,,,I said he's at work son. He said "Daddy, when can I go to work?" roflmao I said "When you grow up son, just have fun being a kid right now." He said "Dad I'm grown up now, I'm not a baby anymore I'm 5. I want to go to work too. I'm a big boy and I can make money too Dad, and we can buy bread and milk and juice. Dad we can buy corn for the deer too, and then we can go and shoot them Dad." rofl roflmao I love kids...

He is about to, will be plinking more cans again tomorrow. He's been deer & dove hunting with me several times, started taking him in the blind when he was two. Morning hunts were great (he was tired) but evening hunts were a disaster at that age. roflmao Age 3 was better, but still tuff in the evenings sometimes when he was tired. I recommend starting at 3-4. I have two in high school that I started taking at age 2 & 3. My oldest son was OK but my daughter was a crab for a while. Guess I'm a slow learner hammer Hell I just love having them with me. Boys are easier, no doubt about it. grin Hell my oldest were 3 and 5 and I put floaties on them and sat them on a styrofoam float tied off to my waste while wading for miles chasing fish. Soaked them down with sun block, hat on, juice pouches, snacks, good times. up They both caught their first redfish and trout sitting on that float. What sucks is that my oldest daughter doesn't remember it. frown Oh well my son & I do. clap
