http://www.eztrimit.com/A client I had out to the range last week pointed this out to me, yesterday. We talked a lot of shop, including hand loading, and both of us hate the time taken to trim. Looks to me as the same principle of trimming, chamfering, deburring in one pass as the Giraud. But you can provide the motor, and adjusting the location of the cutter is much easier with this design than the Giraud. I think I'm going to go this route. I'll save me about $200+ versus the Giraud. Be sure to watch the video. He did a great job of showing how the tool works. I'm thinking I can get away with not having to buy a die for EVERY case I trim. Yesterday I researched shoulder angles, and it looks like certain dies will interchange with more than one case. .243 20° shoulder 7mm-08 20° shoulder .308 20° shoulder I'm fairly confident the 308 die will work for 7mm-08, but am reluctant that it will work well for .243, there may be too much slack, all I can do is experiment. 7 Rem Mag 25° shoulder 300 Win Mag 25° shoulder One die there^^ 6.5 Creedmoor 30° shoulder, it gets its' own die. I retired a bench drill press from the metal shop, when I went to a floor model. The bench drill press has lived on the loading bench for years. All it does is clean primer pockets with an RCBS brush chucked inside the Jacob's. I'll report back once I use it some.

I just called. She is working on the website right now, so it may not be 100% for a little while.

Interesting...in talking to the Giraud folks...since it indexes of the neck your all good with sharing like shoulder angle pilots...but you have to figure out which one has the shortest neck and largest caliber then order it. I've got the issue with 6.5x47 and 6brx...they could use the same but if I get the 6.5x47 the neck is longer than the 6brx. So you get yourself in a bit of a pickle trying to measure necks and shoulders. I went to bed with tired head trying to figure out how many different shell holders I needed. #firstworldproblems

I placed an order, including 5 dies for 8 cartridges. We'll see if I did right...

Those are cartridge specific, and not lots of choices, no?

So if the trimmer index on the shoulder, and the shoulder is bumped back at each loading, will the neck get shorter over time? Or will brass flow and stretch over ride that?

When you bump the shoulder you shorten the distance from the case head to the shoulder.
Indexing off the shoulder is the only way it can work. And yes, brass flows forward, that's one of the reasons to trim. I let mine grow, and only trim every other firing.

First impression is not all good.
.308 die, I can't even get a case to run all the way through the die so that it can be trimmed.
6.5 Creedmoor, the die seems fine.
.223 the die seems fine
.22-250 some ran through, some were very hard to push in.
I did not try these with the trimmer spinning, but it doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling thinking some of my cases will be trimmed long since they have trouble getting into the die. And I don't want the hassle of having to lube them.
I'll call them and see what they say.
