As a rug? Nope. Throw that thing over the back of a chair or couch and you are in business. Have a bobcat hide used in the same manner.

Make a hat or a satchel out of it. Yours turned out a lot better than the one I just home tanned. MY first attempt though, next time Ill know what Im doing!

Not my cup of tea, but I like Rex's suggestion better than the way it looks as a rug. up

Good looking skin, it's not easy to do, but it's getting there

I think you did a good job of preserving it. The only parts that may have been better would have been to leave off the head and feet.

X's 2, I'd lay in on a coffee or end table, just to small for the floor.

Just a suggestion but you could cut off the paws, drill a hole in the claws and make a neckles for your wife and throw the hide over a chair back.

I don't think it looks bad. I have one in the freezer that I want to do the same thing with. What kit did you use?

Pretty cool!! No way I could be even close to that good unless I paid a taxidermist to walk me thru it..... And yes I have done that before.

For home tanned it looks pretty good to me. I would cut the paws off and trim/shape the edges and hang it on a wall o something.

It is fun to work on your own stuff, I applaud your efforts!

I like it and the feet on. I'm, doing some yotes with feet on right now. Looks good did you leave the chin on? If so get a closed mouth rug form like these http://www.vandykestaxidermy.com/Bobcat-Rugshell-C2462.aspx
