I recently bought a used Tikka T3. The trigger pull measures right at 22 oz. I know about the adjustment screw but no matter where I set it the weight stays the same. Any thoughts?

A novice shooter will be using it so 22 oz. is a little on the light side.

You have to adjust it with the bolt down and in the "fired" position. Dry fire it and leave the firing pin forward to adjust it.

If what Chad said still does not resolve it, you may have to remove the spring adjusting screw and remove the spring and replace it. The spring may have been cut or replaced with a lighter spring. You will have to remove the large allen screw and trigger to do this.

No luck adjusting it. Any idea on where to get a factory spring at a decent price? Iv'e seen light springs for sale but not factory springs.

I pulled the spring and plunger to make sure it isn't gummed up or something. Correct me if this assembly order is not right. Plunger in first with the long end pointed to the back of the gun (short end inside the spring). Tight coiled end of the spring against the plunger seat. Then, of course, the set screw.

I would consult a gunsmith before you start getting too deep into the trigger settings and parts. I've seen many shooters mess up their triggers trying to be a gunsmith. That's one thing you don't want to have issues with.

Check the adjustment screw.a couple of threads could have been ground down/off.

I've heard about people using yo Dave springs
No experience. Just hear say

I read about yodave but they appear to be around 1.5 lbs. Big Fitz is gonna hook me up. If that doesn't sort it out I'll have find a good gunsmith.
