Any of the rattlesnake roundups would be a candidate. Used to be a guy who traveled around the state buying them a few years back. IIRC he was from Kingsville.

You could check with the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce, may even have a few names on their webpage from the rattlesnake roundup.
