Well, I have had my 46s deployed 24/7 365 for 5 years now. They have done amazing and I love them, but they are starting to get worn out, but still work for the most part. I would really just want to buy some new 46s, but of course they don't make them anymore and everything has gone to this Ultra style that uses 8 AA batteries. I have some friends that have gone through countless of these small ultra style cameras from different brands and are always telling how they hate them and what pieces of crab they are. I am just wondering if there are still some large size 6v cameras still on the market. I have custom built solar power packs that are 6 volt and won't work with these small cameras because they are all 12 volt. Anyone know of some good dependable 6 volt game cams still on the market?

I agree with you , the 46 and 60's were good cameras. I still have about 8 of them in the field some as long as 7 years. Wish they still made them. I also have a couple of the Ultra's, don't care for them at all.

While I know they aren't what your looking for, I know a site you can order the Simmons camera for $25. They also have other cameras that have been highly discounted including primos

Some of the newer Coverts are a 6v cam. They take 8 AA (12v) which allows the camera to cycle 4 - 4 which gives them pretty good battery life, not sure if you can run them on your 6v setups but I don't see why your couldn't.

Darn good camera those 35s, but I like the 46 better. The image quality is much better and there are more settings.

The 35's are good too. I have 4 of them. Every once in a while you can get some refurbished ones from Natchezz Shooting Supplies.
