I know this is might be moved (hope not) to Gun Dogs
Traffic is higher here. And it's light traffic anyway these days so maybe this will spur some clicks. smile
Anyway, I would like to ask:

I have a DT Systems H2O 1820 that just crapped out on me for the third time in as many years.
I have taken it twice to their home office on Walnut Hill to get fixed. I'm not going back a third time.

What waterproof training collar systems do you swear by? And why?

I think you would have got more relevant discussion down there, but your good. When I had hounds, tritronics was the bomb. My dogs put them through hell. Tritronics is now owned by Garmin. I use the Garman Alpha. Have never had a problem with any of them in or out of water.

I had a tritronics that lasted 6 seasons...I'm now on a SportDog that has made it through 1. I think Dogtra would be your other choice.

Seems if you stick to one of those 3 you should get good service from it.

Gsrmin has taken over tritronics. I am going to try it when the collars I have fail.

Used my tritronics on my dog 9 seasons, it out lived my dog. The button that turns it on and off does not work well, I have to like press it at an angle to get it to work, this started last few seasons. I need to call them on this, I hear their customer service is the best, they might just fix it for me for free. I should have called them when it first started acting up. I plan on using it on my next dog.

I have two Dogtras. The oldest finally needs the batteries replaced after 10+ years.
