Anyone use a foxpro to call turkey?
I loaded up my foxpro with every turkey call they had?

I normally use mouth calls and have had good success
but I'm gonna try the foxpro this year at least a few times.

Any input?

I never have used the FoxPro for turkey, but have friends that do. It can work. To me the fun is calling them in

I have never even thought of using an electronic call for turkeys...is that even legal in TX?

I've used one and it does work....you have to be careful with over doing it. Once that switch goes on it will call til the battery wears out. Study the types of calls...you don't want to call roost down when they are already down and walking around. Good luck!

Even though I have never tried it (and never will) I was also intrigued to see if it was legal and found this.

Calling Devices

Calling devices (including manual and mouth-operated), recordings, and electrically amplified calls may be used to hunt game animals and game birds, except electronic calls may not be used to hunt migratory game birds, unless allowed by special regulation.

all you need is a phone app and a Bluetooth speaker.. Works just fine.

I appreciate the feedback everyone..
I really enjoy calling them in with mouth calls but bow hunting, filming and trying to call is quite the task

so I figured I would give the old foxpro a shot this season,
I will still use my calling skills just because it's the best hunting there is..
