It has not been published yet, but I listened to the part where it was discussed at the commission meeting. The discussion on migratory season proposals start at about 1:25.

http://tpwd.texas.gov/business/feedback/meetings/2016/0324/agenda/

Looks like they are going to adopt everything as proposed except they moved 4 of the special whitewing days to the end of the second split. They slipped up that it was mentioned during the meeting that some of the commission members received copies of the public comments and discussed with each other the dove season dates privately the night before. They later retracted that I suspect because it violates some open meeting rule. I did notice there was no other meaningful discussion on the dates or public comments other than the commission voting on the 4 day change and no explanation why.

So best I could tell the dates are going to be the same as these except for change of the 4 special whitewing days.

was hoping that the proposed duck dates would stick. extra 20 days of dove hunting doesn't hurt anything either.

they'll be here somewhere...been coming here for hundreds of years. may not have to eat as much when its warmer or come as far south, but they still have to eat. el ninos give them lots of options, but you give them somewhere with lots of food and water, you still have plenty

I'd rather have the dove season start 2 weeks early, catch them suckers off guard.
