Guys,

Would you use regular stain and polyurethane or is there something just for rifle stocks that you'd use?

Thanks

Mel

Only thing I've used is Tru-Oil. It took a long time and several coats but it looks beautiful now.

Ever since I've gotten in to military surplus arms, I've grown to appreciate a tung oil or boiled lint seed oil finish. If you scratch it, just slap a new coat on and its ready a day or two later.

I like Boiled Linseed Oil.

Don’t roll those bloodshot eyes at me.
