walked up on a group sleeping, first one did not even wake up, I did not see the babies before I shot, kind of felt bad, not sure if they will make it since they were pretty young.

Piglets will be fine, any other lactating Sows will act as surrogate, happens quite often.

I see it as a win-win.
If the babies live, you have more to hunt. If the babies die, your eradication efforts are multiplied. As flintknapper noted, they will likely be just fine.

Nice going. I agree that the piglets will likely be okay, but at any rate you can't just let hogs walk. Keep shooting!
I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.

Congrats! Don't feel bad because baby pigs become big pigs very quickly. Maybe I'm cold hearted, but I shoot the sow and then the piglets if they stick around.

I could of easily killed some of the piglets, they did stick by the black one, there were 5 of them. I know a lot of people's feelings towards the hogs and have seen the damage they do, i just like to have them to hunt since where I am there really isnt anything else on the property. Trust me I felt bad but once I got done cleaning these i was over it. on to the next. Thanks
