Is there any AK guys out there that can clue me in on what is going on with AKs? I just bought a few AKs and I was talking to a buddy that said that we now have an embargo on Russian Firearms / pretty much everything which is going to make it harder to get new AKs. Does anyone have any input on this?

You'd get more detailed answers with a google search. It only effects Russian AK's and Ammo. Obama imposed an import embargo after the Russians invaded the Crimea. No big deal, they get around this by exporting from other countries and "surprise" creating a US front company to "manufacture" Russian AK's..this has NO impact on any AK's other than Russian.

The AK's from eastern Europe look good to me. Are the Russian guns significantly better?

Russian aks have increased in price for sure, some big time.

Kalashnicov is setting up a factory here in the states to get around it.

SGL arsenals are getting twice retail on gunbroker, I have been watching them lately.

Gonna put the "0" in a pickle.

"Look I brought more manufacturing to the U.S."

You got that right!

Here is their website, I think production has started or will soon

http://www.kalashnikov-usa.com/

Here is what they say about the sanctions roflmao

We are very excited to debut the new Kalashnikov USA products. Since the imposition of sanctions against Concern Kalashnikov in Russia on July 16, 2014, we are working to transform our company and staff from an importer and 922(r) compliant conversion specialist, to a full-fledged manufacturer.
