Not unusual at all in a lot of areas to see bucks still with horns. Some areas the bucks are just starting to drop.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

Saw an 8pt. and a spike this morning. The 8 still had his rack but the spike had shed one side. Lee county.
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count, it's the life in your years.

i was hoping to find a set from our super wide 8. I ended up bumping him and it was the first encounter with him that I was slightly disappointed to see him as his headgear was still attached.

That picture was taken on my birthday Most of ours were still intact as of a week or two ago. Have read good range conditions will help them hold antlers longer as well.

I have been turkey hunting in late april in Sterling City and seen bucks with horns. I don't think March is anything uncommon for sure.

I have a small high fence place and all my big bucks have dropped their horns 2-3 weeks ago. I still have several smaller bucks with head gear as of last night anyway. As a matter of fact we have found several of the bigger sets of sheds.

I have seen bucks in West Texas have their antlers as late as April 22.
