I went out the other night hunting at our place in Rocksprings. Around 11:00 this big boar came out. I was using my 450 Bushmaster with a green light. One round of 250gr Hornady FTX and that as it.

Did you have the light mounted on the rifle? What brand green light?

Did you have the light mounted on the rifle? What brand green light? I use a Wicked Light that does mount on the rifle.

That .450 is a hog mauler ! Never had one run when using mine.

I have hunted hogs with 223, 308. 6.8, and 450B. The 450B has become my favourite for putting a hurting on a hog, and I really like my 6.8. This is a pic of a small hog I shot while running away with my 450B.
