 AR15 22 conversion question

I have a Velocity trigger in my rifle and I have a separate upper with a 22lr bolt. My trigger says not to use with 22 uppers. Does that include the 22 conversions?

Some 22 uppers and kits use a narrow hammer. Possibly the velocity hammer is too wide. Ain't but one way to find out!
