Dream gun would be a 240B with unlimited belts of ammunition.

Reality would be maybe buy a custom long range bolt action from Alamo Precision or Horizon someday.

Maybe a high-end Les Baer 1911, I dunno. I'm pretty sure there's nicer stuff than that out there.

Actually, I think I'd have TDK build me something on a Model 70 CRF action using nicely figured English walnut for a classic stock bearing understated 26 lpi checkering. Something like a .280 AI (or maybe something classic like .300 H&H, or .264 Win Mag, or even 6.5-06 AI) with a premium cut-rifled 24-inch heavy sporter barrel. Give me rust bluing and keep the barrel naked. Not too fancy, just beautifully executed.

Probably whatever I buy next.

Thinking about a Nosler chambered in 28 Nosler with very nice glass on top.

Or a Sako 85 in 7mm-08

I like the looks of the new Citori 725 feather. I'll own one by next season.

While I've always wanted my own M2HB, given the choice I think I'd pick a Westley-Richards .577 double.

Original Newton Rifle in 256 Newton caliber with the double-set triggers.

My Uncle had one that my cousin has now. No idea if he's ever even taken it out of the safe since his Dad passed.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

Any of JM Browning's prototypes that never made it to production.

I'd take a custom 6.5 creedmoor with a camo stock with vertical grip, nice scope, aftermarket trigger, fluted match stainless barrel, and silencer. Nothing crazy, but nicer than anything I've got by a mile.

Would also love a Barrett 82A1, Colt Gold Cup 1911, and a few others.

I've always wanted a nice, English side by side shotgun like a Purdy or Holland.
They are just beautiful works of art and usually increase in value over the years.

It changes a lot but lately I've at least wanted to see an arsenal double barreled 1911 hard chromed and done up by Wilson combat with all the options.

A Curtis Custom rifle that is in the works!

- Axiom short action
- Muller Works heavy varmint barrel with 8 flutes and finished at 26"
- chambered in 6mm SLR
- gunsmithing by Curtis Customs
- Manners T6A or T4A bedded by Curtis Customs
- Vortex Razor II 4.7-27x56
- Seekins rings but considering Spuhr
- Cerakote color dependent on stock
- Jewell trigger

This rifle will be a work of art and a much better shooter than I am.
