From the list of One turkey counties is it legal to hunt and bag a bird in say Bastrop County then move over to Fayette county and bag another bird? My understanding is that there is only one acceptable tag for all of those one bird rio counties and to bag 2 birds in those counties is illegal.

I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure it's one bird per county. So yes you could hunt two, 1 bird counties and harvest in each.

Don't think that is the correct interpretation. Per TPWD, that's a one bag limit zone...meaning only 1 turkey may be harvested within the 10 county area.

Thank you for the clarification. Ive never Turkey hunted anywhere near there. Gamblinman knows Turkey hunting so I would trust him.
