I put a marshmallow and a piece of bait shrimp under the trigger and then another piece of bait shrimp on top. With everything else I tried I caught more rats than coons. The rats apparently don't like shrimp.

I caught a coon like that once. I learned that spacing the traps further apart was a good idea.
I have caught coons with both feet in the same trap.

I've caught two that had both paws in one. And one that had both paws in one but had chewed one off before I got there.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.
