You probably don't want to hold one, because when you do you'll ending up buying one. For 2500-3000 dollars. They are worth it if you shoot alot and have the cash to play with. up

Dang Fester, you're the 1911 king! I can only settle with my Colt Delta Elite 10mm.

I've got a 9mm and a 45acp, but no Wilson 10mm's. Sorry. woot

If you're in DFW, check out DFW shooting sports in Bedford. They always have a good selection of Wilson's on hand.

Might wanna consider the s&w 1076 or 1006. I have the 1076 fbi issued and its an awesome pistol. Just another alternative.

RIA makes some 10mm pistols now, too. They have a couple of double stacks listed on their site.

Only issue with Wilson Combat is they are very tight. Mine does not shoot/cycle the Buffalo Bore or other higher pressure loads. It shoots any 200 gr or less factory ammo into a tiny little holes. But because it does not shoot the bigger stuff it stays home when hunting hogs and the Glock 20 gets to go.

My Kimber TLE had the same issue.

This is exactly why I load my 10mm ammo to normal max 10mm pressures, and not 10mm +P pressures.

I also passed on buying an awesome STI tactical 10mm with rail and all the wiz bang extras. I'm not the biggest 1911 fan, but it was hard not to buy it!

You may ought to ask Wilson about that. Mine work just fine with +P. I bet they'd fix it free

Yeah, I did...

They said send it back and in 10 months we will get it back to you. It shoots 200 and 180 loads just fine. I am happy with the gun. It just does not shoot the higher pressure 220 or 240 gr loads. It is not that big of a deal to me. The Glock 20 and 29 shoots that stuff fine, I have killed more hogs with my Glock 29 just because it is with me more. I think the OP should get a Wilson, more of my friends swoon for my Wilson, Freedom Arms and, Novaks than any of my other pistols. I really like fine guns but my 10mm Wilson just does not shoot those loads.

I love my Kimber Eclipse II 10mm. Found it in a pawn shop last year. I bought it to go with my Eclipse II 45acp.
