I know ANOTHER suppressor thread. Shouldn't be but this is confusing to me. Wanting 1 suppressor for an AR and my 300 Mag deer rifle. Titanium for more that 1 or 2 rounds quickly? Aluminum cheaper but not the best for massacring hogs? Could you share what you got and where please. Also how did the price compare to online places like Silencer Shop etc.... Wanting 5.56 that can be used on my 300 Win mag also. Titanium? Also anyone know of a study/test to see which one was the quietest? 300 Win Mag would be threaded for the suppressor and the AR is already threaded of course. Just seems like a direct thread would be better.

Get a YHM 762 Phantom QD Ti and be done with it. MOST reputable dealers will match online prices.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I've used Atwell Tactical and Viking Armory in DFW, but I'd recommend Silencershop as they have the best selection and prices and will walk you through the whole process. I used them a couple times.

Get a YHM 762 Phantom QD Ti and be done with it. MOST reputable dealers will match online prices. This exactly. The YHM 762 is full auto rated, rated up to 300RUM and has a life time warranty. I wish I would have gotten the Ti model, but chose the Stainless model. I'm still very happy with it, but would have liked to save on weight. Bought mine from class3machining (Morgan) in rowlett. His name is dallasshootingsupplies on this forum and also while you're at it he can thread your 300wm kill 2 birds with one stone.

Direct thread is great if all your guns are threaded the same. For example a Typical 5.56 AR-15 has a smaller thread than an AR-10 .308. Also foreign manufacturers have different threads than US made barrels/guns. You can get a threaded sleeve adapter for common thread patterns. Some suppressors are able to accept different direct thread patterns by swapping parts.
Full auto rated cans are nice, but unless you are doing multiple 30 round mag dumps, it probably isn't necessary. For example, my Silencerco Harvester is an aluminum tube with stainless baffles and is not full auto rated. However you can do a single 30 round mag dump and be fine. You just have to watch the max temperature so let it cool down before doing it again.
If I were buying one today, I be looking at the Thunder Beast Ultra 9. Not full auto rated, but it can handle a mag dump. Light and accurate for long range shooting.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

^^^What he said
As long as you're not doing multiple mag dumps most suppressors should be fine, including the TBAC Ultra 9 which I have.
Local dealers can and will beat online prices if they're not complete dicks behind the counter.
Alpine Range has a couple in process for me and the checks I gave him were cashed by ATF within 2 weeks so I know they sent the paperwork in fast.

Morgan is in the process of building suppressors and said he may be ready to start selling in a few weeks. I think I may buy one of his if not I'm going with YHM

Just so you know, the top 3 brands used by precision rifle shooters are Thunder Beast Arms, Silencerco, and Silencer Tech.
