Anyone a member? I joined last year and when I didn't hear from them this year I guessed they had folded. Looking for another club and found their web site still active but the last notice was of the B-B-Q meeting from last year.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

I would have thought (I know my first mistake)since I was a member the year before I would have received some kind of notice it was time to pay again.

Pretty hit or miss. We had some really good hunts, but we also had a lot of skunks. Birds really never showed up until the end of the season. Teal season was great this year. Shot lots of limits.

On some of these type of organizations you kinda have to keep up with them. These guys are so busy running around and there are so many members it is hard for them to contact them all. knowing some of them they expect for you all to contact them. I know David didn't go under for sure he has a lot of property and a lot of members. He is constantly picking up new and better properties as the years go on. It is a good club and he offers a lot of duck hunting.

If you are looking for more goose hunting then go with coastal prairie or Third coast

If you are looking for more duck hunting there are tons out there, Run & Gun, Riceland, Red bluff, Garwood hunting club, butch, Pintail hunting club, it is just what you are wanting to spend and what you are wanting to do. I know all these guys, and every club has a good thing and a bad thing about them. I know we don't run members just due to trying not to hunt our spots every single day giving our birds resting time so that we constantly have birds. We only run fully guided hunts and offer package hunts. But if you have anymore questions or need some more info shoot me a PM and I can help you out!

Depending on how much my quail lease is this year will govern whether I can do a duck lease or not. I should have called but it slipped past me.
Thanks for the info guys
Snow, I'll keep you in mind for ducks, if you ever have a spot you need to fill one gun, let me know. I know that can be tricky, people can be uncomfortable hunting with guys they don't know

Don't know much about Leon, I know he is in Columbus and runs all different types of wing shooting. But I have never heard anything about top flight. I know a good friend of mine use to buy his quail from there for his hunts but that's all I know!

Leon guided for Blue Goose in the old days with Lanier and Brian Center before he opened Top Flight 27!yrs ago. He has the Kaechele Ranch and some stuff around Garwood. They do good as anyone else on ducks.

I don't know about Leon's waterfowl but his cage raised upland birds are good fliers. Worth the trip and the $

in the good ole days he guided quite a few waterfowl hunts. Now though, I think he primarily just advertises for teal..with a few big duck hunts mixed in when the ducks are cooperative. Runs a good operation with the pen raised birds. Mainly because he raises good birds. Been a hunting guide for the biggest part of his life, including some caribou hunting and fishing in Alaska. Great guy
