I just purchased a new truck and am looking at ways I can possibly install something to hold my handgun that allows quick access, yet is configured/designed in such a way so as not to give it away as a gun holder. Any advice or suggestions on different products that would fit this bill?
Thanks

Have seen some holsters mounted to the side of the console on trucks that hid the handgun quite well but was still accessible. If bench seat it becomes a little more problematic.

I was thinking the same thing driving home today. I can't carry at work any more so I don't want to just put it under the seat or something.

There are lock boxes for under the seat that cable to the seat but not very accessible if needed. Work for making the gun harder to steel when stored in the truck at work though.

Wasn't someone here floating such an idea back around Christmas?

I just shove it under my left leg. Do it every time I get in my car or truck.

You might check out the Hornady rapid safe options. Maybe using a key fob with the case hard mounted in the cab.

I just goggle 'vehicle pistol holster' there are numerous styles and types along with various vehicle safes. Whether you want concealed or holster style.

Not a holder but I have one of these to store firearms in during the day.

Thanks guys. I watched YouTube and searched google until my eyes wanted to start bleeding. I like the safe concept, but unfortunately my model truck doesn't have an easily accessible console storage compartment. The magnets are a good idea, I just wonder how strong they are, and if they're too strong would it cause me to slide it off the magnet instead of it lifting off? Don't want to scratch my gun if it has to be slid off. Most of what I've seen on the internet are basically different variations on 3-4 different themes.
