What type of choke do you use for typical 12 GA store bought turkey loads? I have a Remington extended Turkey Choke in my 870. Trying to determine what I should use in my Franchi I-12. Factory Full or after market?

It would help if we knew what load you are wanting to shoot.

A factory full will get the job done, but will limit your effective range.Jeb's chokes seem to be the rave in aftermarket chokes this year. Sumtoy also.

Whatever choke and load you decide upon, please take the time to shoot it on paper to know what your effective range is, and that your Point of Aim and Point of Impact are the same.

Pattern the factory full with the turkey loads you intend to use at 30-40-50 yards and take a look at the results. If you're happy, stick with it!

Factory will work as stated above There are several good ones out there some costly some not as much. I shoot a Mad Max and also have a Kicks out of a Mossberg 835.I will recommend trying the Winchester XR Long Beard Shells, I started shooting them last Spring and have been well satisfied.
