TXHOGSLAYER recently asked me if I could build a flag case for his fathers burial flag. I had never made one but was up for the challenge. I seriously couldn't be more honored to build this case so TXHOGSLAYER could display his late fathers flag. I am waiting on the name plate and will post another pic once i get it.

The sharp 22.5 degree angles were a little challenging but my method worked flawlessly.

Initial glue up of the frame

I used my grand dads flag for the pic. Now i guess i need to make myself one.

Very nice work sir. I appreciate you showing your set up, my brother has my dads flag and I might try my hand at building one.

Glad I could help. Technically you don't have to do the sharp angles you can do it with 45 degree angles like the trim on the front of the one i did but I liked the look of the sharp angles.I did everything using mitre saw and table saw.

Here is the last pic. This is the actual flag that will be displayed in it and the name plate.
