I am looking for an AR gas block that can be switched off in a fashion similar to the M1A gas block.
This allows the use of loads both lighter and heavier than the gas system can handle, at the cost of having to cycle the action by hand like a straight-pull bolt action rifle.
Can anybody steer me onto an aftermarket AR gas block which incorporates this feature?
Note that an adjustable gas system is not being looked for, what is needed is a gas system cutoff switch like the M1A has.

Noveske makes one I think. It's a 3 stage system. Normal, suppressed, and off

The Syrac adjustable could work, once you have it set for your "go to load" then just count how many clicks it takes to get to the closed position. They run $100. It's not as easy as on-off but it works for not allowing the bolt to cycle

Your welcome. I was intrigued by them, but I am not sure they are worth 180. I have a syrac , works well but a pita to adjust
