I'm gathering info for a new field gun in 6.5 Creedmoor. I've chosen the action, Rem. 700 stainless and barrel length @ 22in threaded, as it will have a can but not 100% of the time. I'm trying to pick a contour that will give good service, light weight enough to carry comfortably. I'm wanting a stainless barrel but that should not affect the weight? What are your thoughts? also twist rate 140gr bullet.

22 Creedmoor

we mainly use a Horizon 4-5 for everything, that way if you ever wanted to have it threaded for a can
