I was walking around on our property and heard a hog trap close nearby, in the middle of the day. Figured I might have a dumb hog in it...I was wrong. First time to have a turkey(s) trigger the trap.  I opened the door and two of them took off right away. The third didn't quit understand he had an exit opened up, but after a couple minutes finally got out.

Had one of the small live traps once (maybe 10x12x36") and found it tripped with a crapload of turkey feathers around it. Who knew they liked sardines???

First time I ever heard of a turkey in a trap. X2  Accidentally caught a a young buck about 4 years ago.
