Now that i'm salivating at the mouth like a rabid dog lol Are there any BBQ joints in the metro-mess that is of mentioning? I have family coming in and would love to show them some of the best dfw has to offer!
Thank you Lord for the gifts in my life.

The Slow Bone of you are on the west side of downtown
Mike Andersons if you are around Parkland Hospital
Lockharts if you are around Bishop Arts
BackCountry if you are around NorthPark mall
Pecan Lodge if you are in Deep Ellum
That's all that I recommend in Dallas, I've been trying them all for the past 10 years

Bakers Ribs certainly can get the job done when you just want some BBQ. But Pecan Lodge, Hutchins and Lockharts are in a league of their own. I have heard amazing things about Slow Bone as well but I haven't been so I can't get give a solid recommendation on that one.

Very good! They have great fried pies, but they don't make BBQ, just sauce covered meat

I think Bakers is good. I guess I'm just not a picky eater.
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

The Bakers Ribs in Deep Ellum must do things way different than the Bakers Ribs in Grapevine because I have never received ribs there that had any sauce on them. In fact the ribs are so good we never put any sauce on them ourselves.

I've had good Bakers before, but only from the one in Garland, all the others were very different and not good

Wrong! They have never served one tray of meat with barbque served on it. They give you a bottle or a cup to put it on to your own to your liking.

Smoke is really good. The brisket is great, but the beef rib is even better. Not your typical bbq joint, but great food.
