Looking to take this on trade but I have no idea how to price a custom rifle since I have never had one built.

R700 action
Krieger ss fluted barrel
Jewell trigger set @ 12 oz.
McMillan swirl varmint aluminum full bedded with glass skimmed
PTG aluminum firing pin
PTG bolt shroud
Leupold mark 4 base millet rings
The bolt, action and barrel has all been trued comes with dies and some new and once fired brass. Round count is 317.

At the end of the day it's still a Remington...1200-1700 is where I'd put it and that would depend on who did the work.

That is a round I shoot a lot, it's impressive.

Judd, does the 6mm Dasher have to be fire formed or is it a standard case? Might be a heck of a varmint rifle.

Has to be fire formed....it's a 6br with the shoulder angle changed and blown forward .010.

Its a heck of a rifle for anything and one of the most accurate rounds out there.

PS - there is a way you can form them without firing...Hornady makes a forming die. You put liquid in the case and the die has the shape of the case and seals...you hit a plunger of sort on top of the die and it will blow the shoulders out for you. I'm not a big fan because they are smoking accurate while you are fire forming and I have a fire forming barrel now.

Add up the price of components. Find the smith and get his price. Determine how much it's worth not to have exactly what you want.
