I'm hoping to find a small lease next season for 2-3 guns in NTX. As far as I can tell there are 2-3 lease broker websites for the region and then the paid sites which cater mostly to deer leases. Does anyone know where else I can look? Thanks for any tips.

Try the land and leases section on this forum. Knocking on doors is the best way

I keep an eye on the other forum; just didn't have much luck last year and didn't know if duck leases were that common on here. I also honed in on an area I liked and knocked on doors/wrote letters to no avail. It only takes one positive response though; I'll probably try another spot this year.

Have you reached out to us or visited our website? We have a waiting list of hunters we give priority to leases when they become available. We do not charge to be put on a waiting list or to have access to our listings. My website is in my signature or PM for more information. If you let me know area, price range, and size we can usually locate a property for you.

Yep, and just networking, small town eat joints, strike up conversations with old dude sitting alone at next table. Any lease you find actively marketed on the internet expect to pay top dollar. Met an old dude like this last year offer me a place to hunt, for free. Your best deal will be with an old dude that hates the Internet, this was the guy I had with my last lease, he hated the Internet and texting.
