I've got a West Texas Mule Deer mount that's ummm 30+ years old, that is beginning to shed some hair. Is there anything that I can treat the mount with to help reduce or prevent this? Ron

I was afraid of that...as much as I would love to go get another West Texas Muley that won't happen anytime soon.
Was hoping to learn of a spray on of some sort that would moisturize the exisiting cape... Ron

A taxidermist with a good network of buddies should be able to find you a replacement cape.

Check out eBay for capes as well McKenzie's makes a spray that cleans and rehydrates The only thing you kinda have to wipe off lightly That may cause more hair to come out But I don't know that it will be enough to keep more hair from falling out I would do as classic rocks said They aren't too hard to find if you know where to look Might even send mulie Mike a message on here about one
