Has anyone used acetone or gasoline to degrease pig heads? I was told this works well, I put one in some acetone last night was wondering what everyone thought about either or used and maybe a time table?

Watching this. I've got some giraffe bone for knife scales that needs a good degreasing before stabilizing it.

Ive been doing euros for a few years and these pigs are a pain to degrease. So I googled it and those two chemicals have been said to be used we will see. I currently have a pig in acetone ill know in a few days!!! Not acetone is very expensive to completely cover a pig roughly 5 gallons @ $20 a gallon. Gasoline would be much cheaper but haven't tried it yet!

Pulled one of my pig heads out of the Acetone yesterday and it worked great it was in it for about 12 days. I will experiment with regular gasoline next and give an update!
