So, once your check clears your bank what kinda time frame is there for your stamp issue for a can?

Nearly forever. They're running about 110 days right now, but that seems to be trending downwards. You might get lucky and have the stamp in hand in 3 months if all of the 41f can buyers (myself included) don't make wait times skyrocket.
You can make yourself even more anxious while waiting by checking nfatracker.com/trendgraph.aspx

They are not at 3 months for a form-4. The one I got back two weeks ago was 5 months, friend of mine in LUbbock got three back last month and they were all right about 5 months as well. all we filed last August. Times are actually getting longer right now not shorter. My Harvester I filed last June came back in 4 months. The first Omega was 5. I still have a Spectre II out that I filed on in November, and my second Omega that I filed first week of January I am not expecting it until next fall due to the enormous pile of forms that were filed once they announced 41P was official.
Form-1's may be faster than that, but it is going to be a while. Best thing to do is forget about it.

Yep, mine last spring were 130+ days. I knew it was going to be a while so after about two months, when I thought 'I wonder', I checked the website and immediately went back to forgetting.

Today is day 162, or 5 months 1 week and 1 day since my check cleared for a .22 suppressor. Like others have said, put it out of your mind. That said, I'm starting to get a little antsy about my stamp. I wanted to take it to the lease the coming weekend, but it appears I may not have the stamp in time.

I had two checks cashed on Nov.6th,and figure it will be March or April before the stamps get here. The one I bought in January,I expect it to take 8-12 months, since everyone with a trust is trying to beat the new rule deadline. I took 7 barrels to Morgan last week to get threaded, and will take him several more when I go pickup the barrels he has now.

I'm expecting 9 months for anything that's cleared January or later.

They cashed my check the first week of November and I got the call yesterday that my stamp came in. I'm told that wait is much longer now.
Thanks!! Matt
The psycho nut bags have always been there. They just get better press now. Take away their guns, they'll use knives. Take away their knives and they'll use sticks!!

Here is the link to NFA tracker. http://nfatracker.com/TrendGraph.aspxI have to say, looking at the graph it does seem times are shortening for things filed back last fall, like what Txhillbilly said. It appears to me the top of the hump was around August, when my friend and I filed for several. August forms averaged about 5 months. Since then it does appear to be coming down, at least temporarily, LMAO. Probably anything last fall is going to come back pretty quick now judging by the graph. Great news for my Spectre II, I am sitting at 110 days on it right now! However I do expect once they get into January forms it will be like they ran into a brick wall. I saw some numbers on how many were filed in Jan, and it was mind boggling.
