I am building a .224 cal. I want it to shoot 75 gr a max bullets. I am thinking about the .22-6mm. I already have a 22-250. build will be like the others I have jewel trigger. rem 700 long action. (stiller) Any other calibers to think about?

That is a good caliber, so are 22-243 and 22 Creedmoor All three will push the 75gr pills real nicely. The 22-250 isn't bad either with the faster twist barrel.
Quite a few are liking the 22 Creedmoor, look back at Buzzsaw's posts on it.

My 22 Creedmoor has become my favorite coyote rifle when it's serious. I run 80gr Amax at 3560fps. Is 6mm Rem brass easy to find these days? I have actually shot 22-250 ammo in my 22 Creedmoor and just fire formed it to 22 Creedmoor. It's a Horizon custom with Stiller action 24 inch Benchmark barrel 1/8 twist

If you are building something, go with a heavier 22 cal bullet, especially if you are doing it on a long action. Seat an 80-90 grain Berger out far and push it fast with a 7" twist barrel.

I had a 22-6ai and just put together a 220 swift to run the 75 amax. Either mentioned will to the trick.
Dstroud what powder does it like?

Reloder 26 seems to be the magic stuff for mine. I tried several others but it gave higher speeds with less pressure than all the rest. In fact I loaded a little faster with no issues but throttled back as my goal was to run the 75-80gr at 3500 and decided not to push much over that.

Dstroud that is a great looking rifle. Looks like a stud. cant argue with results like that. I am planning to shoot a long heavy bullet looking at the 1/7 or 1/8 twist. Going with the long action due to length of bullet and where I want it seat it.

Long action? What are you wanting to run, and in what action. We use a modified stiller so we have a longer mag area no need for a long action.
