John Loeffler 210-854-0004 called me again last week and asked me to come and look at his place and that it opened back up. He was asking $45000 for 3000 acres but is now saying he will take $36000. I don't know him from adam but the conversations I have had with him have been very good and the guy seems like a straight up dude. I first called him about an exotic lease in junction he has but he needs a group of 8 guys. He says he does a survey every year and that the mature whitetail numbers are around 10 to 15 this year. I don't know how well he knows deer though. I told him I wasn't really interested in trophy deer anyhow but I was looking for a place with axis. He says there are Axis and blackbuck and that the numbers are very high this year so far. He did tell me that they were not as high last year but he says he sees them everywhere. I told him I could not get 8 guys but that I would post it here for him and maybe someone would get on it. When I posted it a lot of guys said they didn't like that only a few trophy whitetails could be killed. I relayed this too him and he said that everyone could kill their deer but that everyone might not kill a trophy whitetail. Now like I said I don't know him but he has been very forthcoming with me and his place sounds great. He says he has 2 cabins/trailors to stay. He does have sheep as mentioned by someone on here and he says there are 123 nannies. There is no way I can get on this place as I am only one guy so I told him I would help him and hopefully someone else looking for this type if thing. His number is above if you have any questions.
