Looking for a Good quality scope that's at least 12 power.. Preferably 14 power. Would like to keep it under 600-700 bucks. Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated

I believe I saw some new Leupold 4.5-14x40 scopes for sale recently at $500 or so (Midway or Natchez?). I have a couple of them. Great scopes. Wish I needed another one.

Check out the current sale on Weaver Super Slams at Natchez Shooters Supply. I own a number of Grand Slams, which were replaced by the Super Slams, and they make great scopes for general hunting. Some of those scopes are marked down to $250-300' and they normally sell in the $900 range.
The Weaver Classic Extremes prices are worth looking at too.

Go to a place that has the largest selection you can find, then look through all of them that are in the power range you want and within your budget. Pick the one that looks best to your eyes.
SWFA isn't far from Forney.

Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it illegal for sober people to own cars.
