Anyone every build a platform to put your pop up blind on? Was thinking of building one on each end of my wheat field to avoid the cost of build two box blinds. I can position the blinds where they will be brushed in by trees.

I have used pallets for flooring.

I've always thought I could sell one or two platforms for that exact reason but never gave it a shot. Something with pressure treated or composite decking for the floor and a ladder leading up to it with a "porch"

Off Season:

Above platform during the season:

Deck is 8 feet by 8 feet and is 12 feet off the ground and over looks a food plot. Gives you space for a 2 man blind with a 2 foot wide "L" shaped sidewalk.

The one below has an identical platform but is 14 feet up and built behind the treeline overlooking a small meadow with a feeder, mineral lick and 7 or 8 apple trees:

We have done several. The only problem is over 6' tall to the floor the angle gets tough to shoot bow if shot is less than 20 yards.

God is deep but he is not complicated.

I have 3 popups that I mount about 18" off the ground to keep the varmints out of them. These are made with 6'X6' bases mounted on 18" 4"X4" legs.

I have another that is elevated and I made the platform with 2 4'X8' 3/4" plywood mounted on 2"x 4" frames. The legs are 4X4's using the metal anchors (?) for the corners/legs.

I was thinking of just buying a 6x6 privacy fence section and adding 4x4 legs to get it off the ground 18".

I made mine 8x8, otherwise and am cutting boards and throwing away anything smaller. 4' tall. Very easy build.

I have done mine the same way in the past. The 8x8 give a little walk space and makes it a simple build as well. I usually only lift mine about 2'.
