This is not my dog and not even someone I know personally but a few friends know him. Regardless sharing here as this is absolutely horrible and maybe someone in the area might have heard something or have helpful info.

I am part of a few local lost pets groups on facebook and Capt. Terry had been looking for his dog for ~ 2 weeks or so. I guess last night or the day before his dog was found but had been shot and thrown from a bridge...

No dog deserves this fate. I hope they find the POS that did this. A full felony prosecution isn't even a fraction of what the guy deserves...

If anyone does have any info I'd encourage you to contact Captain Terry at the # in the photograph.

Keep your dogs safe out there. I keep mine kenneled in the backyard and still worry every day they may get out or someone might take them...

If I get any more info I'll post an update but all I know for now is what's in the picture above.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

I just don't understand how someone could do that to a dog... especially a lab. Having a hard time not wishing the same fate for the person that was responsible for this. Horrible, absolutely horrible.

There are several members on this forum that have openly said they would (and do) shoot any dog that comes on their property, including hunting dogs they know are just lost / looking for help.

And, we have called them out.

What a disgraceful pos, whoever did this deserves to be made someones lil girl in the pen. Makes me sick. What a beautiful dog. Best of luck finding justice.

Who said they'd shoot a hunting dog? I don't remember that.

Someone has to be sick in the head to do something like this. The dog had a collar on with contact information. There are few things in life better than a good dog.

That's terrible, hopefully Karma catches up with whoever did that.
