This may have been asked many times before. What is your go to all around hunting rifle?

Custom Remington 700, .300 Weatherby magnum.

Up until now its been my trusty Rem 700 30-06 that was passed to me by my grandfather. Have been wanting to put it into the safe to keep it nice for an inheritance one day.

Once the load is developed, I'm moving to my new custom 7mm WSM

If you had to pick just one what would it be?

Remington 700 .270. Just the right amount of lethal knock down. Easy to find ammo.

Custom LH 6.5 Creedmoor.

Not as good of an elk or mule deer rifle as my 7 Rem Mag, but it would get it done.

Mine is my Browning A-bolt Stainless Stalker in 7 mag. I use Remington Managed Recoil rounds on Texas whitetails and hogs. They have about the same ballistics as a 7mm-08. I use full power rounds when hunting mule deer or anything bigger.

This is quite a vague question. What do you define as an "all-around" rifle?
