Looking for suggestions for 20 to 24 power scope. Will be used for 400-600 yd shots. $1000 budget

Bushnell Elite Tactical and SS 5-20 HD will get you the best in that budget.

Yeah ss scopes don't hold value like others....
Depending on what you want to do with it a vortex pst will not quite be up to bushy or used ss but would be cheaper.
Or just triple the budget and get the new 6-24 from vortex
