Trying to plan my first bear hunt for this year or next. Looking for advice on where to go and what outfitter to use. Location doesn't matter just want to chase some monsters.

Goose, I'm hunting with these guys in late April. http://www.coastalalaskaadventures.comThey have a great reputation. Happy to share my experience when I return in early May.

We don't produce a ton of record book heads but we got some good bears and the hunts are a great value for what you get, check out my post in the guides & outfitters section.

I'm hunting in New Brunswick this May. Its a five day hunt, fish in the morning and hunt over baits in the evenings. Check out their web site New Brunswick trophy hunters. My first hunt with them, they have good reviews, Lloyd and his wife always respond to my questions fast. Should be a blast!

Some of us are headed to Ontario from Iowa to hunt w Abitibi Outfitters. Another THF member will share camp w us for a spring hunt.

Not sure I understand why you guys want to travel so far when we have blacks bears in surrounding states? Was thinking about NM this year but you guys have got me curious
