Glad to see this back in the action Wife and I built some chairs to sit around the fire pit When we bought the place, that twin bed was stuck headfirst into a closet because the room is so small. It was never designed for two beds. So we redesigned it. The bed frame started looking like a deer stand at first and we weren't happy with it at all. A quick trip to the hardware store for some rope and cleats changed the whole look. We were attempting a nauticle look such as a pier. Whatever we accomplished, I know we opened up a lot of space in that room.

My wife throws the stink eye my direction when I don't bring her duck hunting. If you two came down It would be a perfect mix to bring my wife.

Very nice sir. I love your boat. Thank you. I swore I would never have another fiberglass boat. My wife saw this boat and that was that. She wanted it and wasn't going to change her mind. The jury for me is still out on it for me though. I have never run anything but a flats boat on the coast. This boat will run semi shallow but wont get up shallow. I have a Dargel 15 foot skooter that would go anywhere and get up in a drop of spit. The other side of that coin was you were very limited on big water and it would beat you to death. This boat can handle the big water and still be very smooth riding. I nosed the keel up to some mud in Salura bayou to see what the boat drafts in. 18 to 20 inches is what I guessed. That excludes me from the badlands behind Pringle lake. I have been thinking more about staying out of those places anyway. Arial photographs show the see grass torn to shreds. There are plenty fish outside those areas so I settled on this boat and staying deeper water to avoid killing the grass beds. Time will tell if I keep this one or not. All I have to do is wait for my wife to like another kind of boat and that deal will be done.
