A couple of years ago I put up a blind in a spot that turned out to be the wrong place. I had a feeder and a trail cam and got lots of pics of hogs, but few deer. I moved the blind to a sendero about a mile away that is much more productive for deer but I still get a lot of night hog visitors. The lease is a normal cattle operation with people and trucks doing their thing every day. We have three ponds and a couple of water tanks. I've never seen pigs during the daylight hours, but there is sign all over the place. What I'm wondering is, how can we go about getting a realistic estimate of the pig population? Is getting into sour-corn baits and pig-pipes worth the effort if we are dealing with just a few transient visitors? Appreciate your opinions.

I would start by putting up feed pens and pray the hogs leave.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?
