...with dfwroadkill. We started off our hunt with lunch in down and then spent the next several hours sight seeing some of his new hunting territory, then coming back in and gearing up to hunt that new territory. We could not have asked for better weather. It was cool enough to work hard without sweat accumulating but not so cool that you got cold. The wind was rather fierce at times which was sometimes not good, but that turned out to be a useful tool as well. This is a little longer video that normal. There are four separate hunts included.

Another great job on the video production. It was a great night. I always enjoy hunting together. On the coyote hunt, I was scanning with my thermal monocular to our left when the one came by close. When you called coyote, I had trouble locating it. By the time I switched to my rifle, he was gone. I did get to record you shooting the second one. On the scene where the sounder takes off to our right, we knew we had to let them go due to a ranch house a few hundred yards behind them. Beautiful weather, great hunts. I have slept 5.5 hours over the past 72 hours. Downtime coming.

Way to go, guys. Nice shooting. I'm always impressed by anyone who can regularly hit running hogs.
I have two unwritten rules: 1. 2.

Seems of late, I can't hit them unless they are running. I have been so used to hunting alone, it is taking some adjustment to hunt with someone. I like it though. A lot. DNS is great to work with. He'll chase them all night.

That must be western or southwestern Palo Pinto county. Looks a lot like the country I run around Strawn.
