Just wondering when everybody starts seein there flocks splitting up??

They invariably move and break up the week before the season opens.

They split up in our area at the beginning of February. I was scouting an area yesterday and spooked a hen off of a nest. Its starts earlier and earlier every year. Season should start at the beginning of March.

I'm not a turkey hunter so I don't really know their breeding habits. I did see a flock of 28 in my pasture this morning. Lee county.

In Goliad County yesterday morning I saw 9 big gobblers together. This morning about 3 miles south of those, I saw 2 big gobblers strutting in the middle of about 10 hens beside the road.
