stxranchman, you are onto something. I have the same issues trying to trap the big ones. They either push the trap or if they are staked down they will root under them. Sow in heat lure may just be the trick. I'm going to have to try that out. I think code blue sells one.

It was rank smelling but those who used it said it worked dang good for trap shy boars.

WOW, cant believe you got that big sucker in that "coon trap"  I think you should get some kind of "Tax" relief for moving that much meat of your place!
