Anyone ever seen or hunted hogs in Madison County? New to a piece of land and all the neighbors claim to not have seen nor hunted any.

Just because they've never seen them doesn't mean they aren't there. I saw a dead pig on 2920 around kickapoo two weeks ago and hadn't ever seen any around before.

And bridges mean waterways, hogs like to travel near those I believe.

There are two types of counties in Texas. Those that have hogs and those that will have hogs.

Are they old?

My old neighbor had bad vision and told me that he'd hear hogs from time to time, but never saw them and thought they were "few and far between". There was a pack of like 40 200-lb hogs destroying his pasture bthe next morning. I went to tell him and he was on his back porch, sipping coffee, had no idea they were there. Less than 200 yards from him, in full view (it was down hill to where they were).

About all you can do is put up a feeder and game cam to find out.
I have a place just west of North Zulch and YES we do have hogs.
